Learn more about accessing and using the Facilitator Dashboard
Facilitator Dashboard
The Facilitator Dashboard is the default dashboard for all facilitators. Here you can class summaries and get summary data on connections between students. In this section you will learn about:
- Class Settings
- Monitoring Thx Notes
Class Settings
First log in as a facilitator by selecting this dashboard view under your avatar or initials. Your landing page will provide an aggregate of activity across all your classes.
To add a class click on 'My Classes' at the top of your screen.
Once in this view click 'Add a Class'.
From here you can create a new class and add students by providing them with the class code. Schools using rostering will likely not have to create additional classes or share codes to enroll students as these steps have most likely already been completed.
Once the class has been created click on the image next to the class name to copy and share the class code.
You can also open or close a class. Closing it means no one else can join.
Thx notes can also be turned off for a class. This can be helpful while beginning to introduce the program because it allows users to define when they would like to monitor thx notes.
Go to 'Roster' in order to add/remove students.
Freeze sending for particular students. It is important to note that a student whose thx notes are frozen will not be able to send thx notes to anyone, even if they are part of other classes in GiveThx.
There are several other facilitator dashboard functions which are reviewed in the following articles. Click on links below to find out more:
